Greeting! I'm a post doctoral associate at Carnegie Mellon University, School of Computer Science, Language Technology Institute, mentored by Prof. Alexander Hauptmann. My research interests lie in interdisciplinary field of Multimedia, Machine Learning and Computer Vision.
Bio. Jia Chen is a Post Doctoral Associate at Carnegie Mellon University, Language Technology Institute, from 2016 to present, mentored by Professor Alexander Hauptmann. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science Department from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2015, advised by Professor Yong Yu. He got his B.Sc. degree in mathematics (major degree) and B.Sc. degree in computer science (minor degree) from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. He interned at IBM China Research Laboratory from 2012 to 2015, working on product recommendation.
